Welcome to the IndoStan website. This site is a work in progress; the goal is a complete catalog, with photographs and descriptions, of the folk art and antiquities collection of Thierry Durieux. The large majority of his collection has been acquired over the past 24 years in Indonesia, though his travels in other parts of Asia have yielded additional pieces. We also have a number of Central Asian pieces collected by Safi Shams.
New items are being added and updated regularly so please do check back with us. As you may have noticed, not all items have been photographed, described, and/or priced. Certain items are not for sale but are part of Thierry's personal collection and are included for the discussion's sake. If you would like any additional information for any particular item please do email us.
